Javier, a two-time Olympian, is deeply passionate about unleashing human potential. Through his expertise, he guides executives, teams, and organizations in translating Olympic-level performance principles into sustained peak performance, enabling them to conquer meaningful goals with unwavering excellence.

With over 20 years of professional expertise spanning consulting, executive roles, facilitation, and keynote speaking, Javier is dedicated to fostering excellence in individuals and organizations. He is an expert in designing and implementing person-centered leadership development programs and creating highly-effective results-driven organizational cultures, across different industries.

Javier’s leadership journey spans from transforming the Mexican Swimming Federation as its former President and CEO, to his role as a Senior Executive at Laureate International Universities. Under his guidance, the federation expanded significantly, enabling athletes to secure medals at prestigious global events like the World Championships and the Olympic Games. At Laureate, he focused on enhancing the Customer Experience for a student body of 120,000, resulting in notable increases in satisfaction and retention.

Javier is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of roles and contributions. He recently authored “La Meta fue el Camino,” a memoir chronicling his Olympic journey and serves as a columnist for “El Heraldo de México.” At Marymount School, he helps to teach and develop senior’s communication skills, while also advocating for inclusivity as an Ambassador for the Special Olympics. Additionally, Javier provided advisory expertise to the Project Play program of the Aspen Institute, promoting the benefits of sports and physical activity.
