He has coached thousands of leaders, from first-time managers to senior executives, across startups, Fortune 500 companies, and the public sector in industries including technology, mining, oil and gas, telecommunications, and non-profits. Faris has designed and delivered hundreds of leadership programs that strengthen emotional intelligence, build trust, and foster meaningful conversations that drive real results. His work improves team effectiveness, promotes psychologically safe environments, and equips leaders to guide others with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Before moving fully into coaching and consulting, Faris led teams at a global communications agency as a communications director, managing cross-functional teams and high-pressure initiatives. He later played a pivotal role in the EdTech sector, coaching sales and customer success professionals at a Silicon Valley company recognized by Fast Company as one of the world’s most innovative. There, he trained hundreds of underrepresented professionals for careers in SaaS tech sales, with fellows securing roles at companies including Google, Meta, and Apple.
A lifelong learner and community builder, Faris has trained coaches through International Coaching Federation-accredited programs, served on an ICF board, and currently sits on the Professional Advisory Council at Rhodes Wellness College. His approach blends deep expertise with human-centered leadership, helping leaders expand self-awareness, embrace new perspectives, and build authentic connections that achieve measurable outcomes.
